Welcome to Piano With Shannon

It is never too late to learn to play the piano! Whether you are a child, adolescent or adult, lessons are available for all ages and all skill levels. Piano lessons take place in a welcoming home studio in Forest Hill, Kitchener, where students can feel comfortable in an engaging learning environment.

Learning how to play the piano is hard work, but it should also be fun. So while students learn the fundamentals of piano technique, they will also gain experience composing their own music, improvising, and performing.

About Shannon Cressman

I love sharing my passion for music with my students, and have been teaching private piano lessons for over twenty years. My qualifications include a Grade 10 RCM diploma as well as a Bachelor of Arts, specialization in music, and a Bachelor of Education. I consistently attend music education workshops and most recently have completed two Orff Level courses through the Royal Conservatory of Music.

I am also a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and I have experience teaching classroom music to children in Grades K-8. I make every effort to make each lesson educational as well as enjoyable and I am fully committed to the progress of each of my students.

Rates

• 30 minutes                        $32
(beginner, intermediate)
• 45 minutes                        $45
(intermediate, advanced)
• 60 minutes                        $60
(advanced)

Policy

• Lessons are paid for at the beginning of each two month session.
• Students sign up for a lesson day and time which is reserved each week.
• At least 24 hours notice is required to cancel a lesson.
